A conversation on conscious consumerism, the craft of Italian shoemaking, and embracing feminine style
with Jennifer Stucko – the Founder, CEO, and Creative Director of Prota Fiori
Prota Fiori translates to “protect the flowers” and for Jennifer Stucko, it is not only surface level but the true mission behind her luxury footwear brand. Jennifer — Founder, CEO, And Creative Director of Prota Fiori — spent years of her professional life at luxury fashion houses like Georgio Armani and Valentino falling head-over-heels (no pun intended) with the craft of Italian shoemaking. After realizing the drastic negative footprint that the footwear industry has on the environment, Jennifer was drawn back to her roots (quite literally) to become a pioneer in the sustainable footwear industry, one feminine step at a time.
On this episode of End of the Night, Jennifer so graciously shares a true behind-the-scenes look into the making of her designs; each hand-crafted in Italy and created with sustainable materials like upcycled apple skins and grape skins. Yep, you read that right.
Whether you’re a fellow industry colleague, a bride-to-be searching for the perfect pair of sustainable and elegant heels, or perhaps a conservationist or an avid shoelover, I know you’ll be enthralled with Jennifer and the historic world of Italian shoemaking.
