The Associate Event Producer position is an entry-level administrative position, providing familiarity with Cassy Rose Events productions, operational procedures, and creative process. The Associate Event Producer reports to owner and Creative Director, Cassy Anderson.  This person is responsible for maintaining consistency around administrative processes and supporting our high quality of services.  The ideal candidate will be organized and proactive with a strong sense of service.




  • Provide general administrative assistance for clients and creative partners as directed
  • Support creative partner relationships
  • Maintain comprehensive payment tracking records for clients
  • Collect comprehensive and accurate records
  • Preparing communications for clients and creative partners


  • Support staging of design presentations, tablescape mockups and client meetings
  • On-site set up of creative installations on event days
  • Work with event documentarians for styling and coordination of design detail shots
  • Moderate social media support

Event Execution:

  • Confirm logistical details with creative partners prior to the event
  • Finalize event timelines for distribution to creative partners and clients
  • Support coordination of event set up
  • Support guest flow and event timeline
  • On-site support for all events


The Ideal Candidate is

  • Highly organized
  • Has previous events or service industry experience
  • Proficient in Excel, Google Drive, Dropbox, Canva and Zoom
  • Able to secure reliable transportation for on-site event days (mileage will be reimbursed)
  • Able to manage own time well for project-based work
  • Passionate about collaborating with a wide variety of personality types
  • Comfortable giving and receiving feedback, self-aware and growth-oriented
  • Comfortable working outdoors regardless of weather/season
  • Able to lift/transport up to 20 pounds of supplies several times a day
  • Able to be on feet for long periods of time on event days
  • Available and willing to work weekends and nontraditional hours

NOTE: Due to the culminating nature of the work, priority will be given to candidates who can commit through Summer 2022 (potential to continue beyond) and are available on the following dates:

  • Friday, June 10 – Sunday, June 12
  • Wednesday, July 13 – Sunday, July 17
  • Wednesday, July 20 – Sunday, July 24
  • Monday, August 1 – Sunday, August 7
  • Saturday, Aug 20


Location and Schedule

The majority of administrative and pre-production work can be completed remotely from any location and on-site work takes place at various venue locales throughout Michigan. Ideal clients would be local to the metro Detroit area and available to travel throughout the state as needed. Daily administrative schedule does have some flexibility, with an expectation that work can be completed during traditional work hours as needed.  On-site event production work is often on weekends and evenings.
